Bobby Saddler is director of Telecom Systems at the Lower Colorado River Authority in Texas, where he is responsible for telecom network strategy, planning and architecture.  LCRA’s telecom systems include fiber, microwave, 900 MHz and 700 MHz mission-critical radio, Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), Dense Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (DWDM), security appliances, and network monitoring systems.   During his 13 years at LCRA, Saddler has specialized in technology engineering and operations. Earlier, he worked with major commercial wireless carriers and gained experience in core network integrations, radio-frequency engineering of cellular networks and rollouts of Universal Mobile Telecommunications Services.  He serves on the board of the Greater Austin Area Telecommunications Network (GAATN) and formerly served as national board member of the Utilities Technology Council and as chair of the Region 7 UTC.  Bobby is a summa cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University and is a licensed professional engineer in Texas.
